My Guide to the HydraFacial™

Good hydration is the foundation of healthy, beautiful skin. When skin is properly hydrated, it stays soft and supple and is better able to heal itself. But at-home moisturizers don’t penetrate deeply, and regular facials and other treatments can irritate the skin. At my med spa, Irvine and other Southern California patients can deeply refresh and hydrate their skin with the HydraFacial.

This brief procedure may be one of the most relaxing services available at my practice. The 4-step process begins with a gentle cleansing to rid the skin of surface impurities. Exfoliation and a gentle peel loosen and extract deeper dirt, making the skin more receptive to treatment. A series of extractions using HydraFacial’s special Vortex tool are nearly painless, and an application of powerful ingredients including antioxidants puts the finishing touch on your beautiful new complexion.

HydraFacial is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Immediately following treatment, many patients say their skin feels softer and more refreshed, with a noticeable reduction in blemishes and puffiness. HydraFacial is a great option for a one-time pick-me-up, but many patients prefer to incorporate it into their regular skincare routine with monthly maintenance treatments.
