Significant weight gain and obesity affects as many as 50% of high school kids in some areas of the country. The hard truth is that 16 years old is not the best time to have an abdominoplasty. While I do some procedures on teens like otoplasty, rhinoplasty and occasionally liposuction, I usually don't perform tummy tucks on teens. I can't fully judge your situation since I don't know your current height and weight, but for now it sounds like hard work and diet control may be the best thing for you. Whatever I try to do, I can't get that gut or lovehandles off. It depresses me that I have to go to they gym and work my butt of for 2 hours and barely get any results than those kids with high metabolisms. Would a tummy tuck/lipo be a good thing for me? I need to convince my mom that I can't do it on my own and that I need to make myself look better in able for me to feel better about myself and to show the results of my hardwork.
