I was recently invited onto the popular television show, “The Doctors,” to discuss the Laser Bra, the method of Southern California breast reduction and breast lift I perform at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates. I enjoy every opportunity to discuss this procedure, which can have a significant positive effect for women who are unhappy with their breast appearance. I was especially pleased to be on a program that reaches a broad audience, because the more women know about their options, the better their results and the more positive their experience can be.

One of my recent Laser Bra patients, Meredith, was also invited to join me on the show. It was generous of her to share her experience, because I think that her success story can help other women feel more comfortable considering surgery. In my experience, women often will “suffer in silence” because they may feel that their needs aren’t as important as those around them or they may think it’s “wrong” to spend time focusing on a “cosmetic” issue. But what this episode of The Doctors brought to light is that there are many other women out there who want to enhance the appearance of their breasts, this is a perfectly reasonable desire, and skilled help is available.
