General Cosmetic Surgery

By: Heather Furnas, MD

These days, it seems like most plastic surgeons have a Web site and, if they do, offer an email newsletter. What’s in the newsletter and their email policies may differ slightly, but, in general, these practice newsletters can be a great way to get more information from your favorite plastic surgeon.

Reasons to Subscribe

Using my practice as an example, our newsletter gives you information about surgical and nonsurgical procedures, plastic surgery technology, the latest news in the plastic surgery industry, current trends, and special offers, promotions, and events.

Don’t Worry

Whatever differences plastic surgery practices may have, there are a few things that they all should (and hopefully will) have in common when it comes to practice newsletters:

  • Subscription is free.
  • You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • The practice will not sell or distribute your email address.

In short, signing up for an email newsletter from your Sonoma or Napa plastic surgeon offers many benefits without any real risk. The worst that can happen is that you don’t wish to receive emails from the practice any longer and you can unsubscribe in just a matter of moments.
