No one doubts the effectiveness of BOTOX® Cosmetic for the temporary treatment of dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines and crow’s feet. But what I’ve learned through my many years of practice is that having multiple options is good for patients – it enables me to customize treatment and get the best possible results. That’s why I now offer DYSPORT®, an alternative to BOTOX, for my Boca Raton patients with dynamic wrinkles. Benefits of DYSPORT
Although they are both made with purified botulinum toxin and are FDA-approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles, DYSPORT has important differences when compared to BOTOX.
- DYSPORT spreads further from the injection site, making it more effective when larger areas need to be addressed.
- DYSPORT produces results more quickly than BOTOX. My Boca Raton BOTOX patients usually see results in three to five days while, with DYSPORT, results are visible after one or two days.
- DYSPORT is more affordable than BOTOX.
Because DYSPORT is relatively new, it may not be offered by every cosmetic practice. Even if your doctor does not offer DYSPORT, he or she should be able to discuss the treatment with you.
