Education and Experience
After earning his MD at UCLA, Dr. Kaufman completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and achieved board-certification in Internal Medicine. He followed this with a residency in Dermatology at UCLA. He is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and is one of an elite group of physicians with board certification in two specialties. Dr. Kaufman was invited to complete a prestigious fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of California at San Francisco under the direction of two of the world’s premier Mohs surgeons.
