Meet Dr. Kenneth Arndt

Dr. Kenneth Arndt is a Boston area dermatologist who has greatly influenced the field of dermatology. He earned his medical degree from the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine and was recognized as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society graduate. As an educator and leader, Dr. Arndt serves as an Adjunct Professor of Surgery (Dermatology) at Dartmouth Medical School, adjunct Professor of Dermatology at Brown Medical School, and Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Emeritus, Harvard Medical School. He is the author or editor of 16 books and has contributed to over 300 scientific publications. Dr. Arndt has held several positions in professional organizations, including serving as the President of the Boston Dermatological Club, the New England Dermatologic Society and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has earned multiple awards such as the President’s Award from the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and is consistently listed among the top dermatologists regionally and nationally.

Meet Dr. Jeffrey Dover

Dr. Jeffrey Dover is a dermatologist in Boston and director of SkinCare Physicians. He graduated as the silver medalist, magna cum laude with a medical degree from the University of Ottawa. His dermatology training was completed at the University of Toronto followed by research fellowships at St. John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin at the University of London in London, England, and a two-year photomedicine fellowship at the Beth Israel Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dover has authored over 350 scientific publications and has co-authored and edited 41 textbooks. He serves as the immediate past president of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and vice president of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Dover has received multiple honors, including the prestigious Leon Goldman Award and the Ellet Drake Award (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery). He is the creator of Skin Effects, a skin care line available at CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide.

Meet Dr. Michael Kaminer

Dr. Michael Kaminer is a skin cancer and cosmetic surgeon serving the Boston area. He is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Haverford College. Dr. Kaminer is a respected leader and educator in the field of cosmetic surgery and has authored over 100 articles, including the introductory chapter of the well-known book Photoaging. He is actively involved in the education of physicians-in-training and has held previous positions as the Director of Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery education at both Harvard Medical School and the Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Kaminer has made several appearances on local, network, and national television as a cosmetic surgery expert, including CNN, CBS, ABC, and NBC affiliates.

Meet Dr. Karen Kim

Dr. Karen Kim is a board-certified dermatologist in the Boston area at Skin Care Physicians. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology, Mohs and laser surgery. She earned her Bachelor’s degree, Medical degree and Masters of Medical Science degree from Brown University. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, followed by a dermatology residency and Chief Resident role at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Following this, she completed a Mohs and laser surgery fellowship at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York in Manhattan. Among her numerous awards, she is the recipient of the Janet Glasgow Award while at Brown Medical School and the Best Resident Award during her dermatology residency.

Meet Dr. Thomas Rohrer

Dr. Thomas Rohrer graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine before completing his internship in internal medicine at Yale University Hospital and a residency in dermatology at the combined Boston University-Tufts University program. Now, Dr. Rohrer plays an active role in the training of young dermatologic surgeons in the Boston area and around the globe. As an accomplished lecturer and educator in surgical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Thomas Rohrer is a recognized innovator in his field. He has appeared on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and CNN news as an expert on lasers, cosmetic procedures, botulinum toxin injection, skin cancer, and more. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery.

Meet Dr. Robin Travers

Dr. Robin Travers of SkinCare Physicians is a magna cum laude graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine. There she received numerous honors, awards and distinctions, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American Medical Women’s Association Citation. She also received the Janet Glasgow Award, given to the top female graduate in her class. Dr. Travers completed an internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, then trained in dermatology through the Boston University/Tufts-New England Medical Center Combined Residency in Dermatology.
