He has been the director of the Regional Burn Unit at Valley Medical Center and volunteers as a clinical faculty member at the Stanford University Medical Center.

After receiving a dual B.A. from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Clark completed her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit (and graduated in the top ten of her class).
