Dr. Stratis completed graduate work at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey before he was admitted to St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He transferred after two years of study to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he graduated with his M.D. in 1982. He went on to complete residencies in general surgery at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center until 1989.
In addition to being certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Stratis is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with the added qualification for Hand Surgery.

Dr. Gayner graduated with his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia, where he became interested in surgery for the head and neck. After medical school, he decided to complete an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He also completed fellowship training in facial plastic surgery at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. As a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Gayner is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
