Experience and Qualifications
John M. Osborn, M.D. is a plastic surgeon who, after receiving his medical degree from the University of Toronto, Canada, completed his internship at The San Francisco General Hospital and general surgery residency at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. In addition to extensive plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Ohio under John C. Kelleher Sr., M.D., a world renowned Chief of Plastic Surgery, he is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Osborn also is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Lipoplasty Society.
Donald R. Jasper, M.D is known for his skills as an aesthetic plastic surgeon, specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body sculpting (liposuction) for the last 20 years. His education includes medical school and an internship at the University of California, Irvine, followed by a plastic surgery residency at St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco that provided a three-year exposure to many of the Bay Area’s best plastic surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and credentialed to perform plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mercy General and Sutter Community Hospitals.
Wayne I. Yamahata, M.D attended medical school at the University of California, Davis. He continued his surgical training at U.C. Davis where he completed residency training and general surgery and was certified by the American Board of Surgery for ten years. Dr. Yamahata also completed residency training in plastic surgery and is currently certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at U.C. Davis Medical Center, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of both the California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
Debra J. Johnson, M.D joined The Plastic Surgery Center in 1989 as the first female plastic surgeon in Sacramento. She received both her M.D. degree and her plastic surgery training at Stanford University and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 2009, Dr. Johnson was elected by her peers to serve as President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, she has served as Chief of Surgery for the Sutter Community Hospitals, and is Co-Director of the Sutter Cleft Lip and Palate Panel. In addition to her facial reconstructive volunteer work, Dr. Johnson takes special interest in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery for other areas of the body, particularly for the breasts.
Scott D. Green, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He began his training at Texas A&M School of Medicine where he received his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Green furthered his training at the University of Vermont Medical Center for general surgery, followed by plastic surgery training at Loma Linda University. During his training, Dr. Green was recognized with the distinguished Resident of the Year award and the Bernard Barney Excellence in Plastic Surgery award. Currently, Dr. Green is one of the country’s foremost surgeons in the area of post-weight loss plastic surgery and regularly completes and publishes his research surrounding plastic surgery.
Lynne Hackert, M.D. earned her medical degree at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine and then completed her General Surgery training at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. At the University of Southern California, Dr. Hackert completed her plastic surgery residency as well as a hand-microsurgery fellowship under Dr. Randy Sherman. As a fellow, Dr. Hackert served as clinical faculty for Los Angeles County Hospital supervising a spectrum of traumatic and reconstructive cases. She also dedicates her time to instruction and volunteers in outreach clinics at the Shriners Hospital for Sick Children in Los Angeles.
