New York Rhinoplasty
Dr. Erlich performs hundreds of nose surgeries a year for septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty patients in Manhattan, New York, and Connecticut. Through a highly precise computer imaging system, Dr. Erlich can help patients visualize how even subtle changes can provide significant improvement for their face, and choose the approach that is most appropriate for their features. Options include:
- Open Rhinoplasty: In this technique, a small horizontal incision is made across the columella, the strip of skin that separates the nostrils. The tissues are lifted over the treatment area to allow the surgeon direct access to the inner structures of the nose. This “open” approach is very useful for more complex nasal improvements, and usually heals so that any scarring is barely visible.
- Closed Rhinoplasty: For this procedure, all incisions are made inside the nostril, so there is no visible external scarring. This approach is preferred where the patient requires only moderate structural adjustments, because the hidden incisions help limit bruising and keep healing times short.
- Septoplasty: This nose surgery procedure in New York corrects deviation (crookedness) of the vertical wall inside the nose in order to restore a more balanced nasal structure and enable the patient to breathe more freely. It may be performed in cases where no cosmetic change is desired, or it may be combined with either an open or a closed rhinoplasty.
Other Facial Enhancements
For patients who want to improve the look of facial features other than the nose, or who want to combine nose surgery with another New York facial plastic surgery procedure, Profiles & Contours offers custom-tailored procedures that fit patients’ needs:
- Face lift to give a firmer, younger look to the cheeks and smooth out folds near the nose and mouth
- Eyelid surgery to smooth and tighten saggy, wrinkled eyelid tissues
- Chin implants to restore balance and definition to the face
- Brow lift to minimize dynamic wrinkles above and between the eyebrows
- Fat extraction to reduce fatty deposits in key areas of the face
- Otoplasty to enhance the shape and position of the ears
Body Contouring and Breast Enhancement Procedures
In addition to his wide range of nose surgery procedures, Dr. Erlich and the surgeons at Profiles & Contours have extensive experience performing breast enhancement procedures including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, and breast reconstruction.
Body contouring procedures such as liposuction can correct “trouble spots” and help patients look as healthy and fit as they feel. Other body contouring choices include:
- Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
- Mini Tummy Tuck
- Body Contouring & Body Fat Reduction
