Dr. Westfield, founder of Westfield Eye Center, is recognized for his caring and individual-focused approaches as well as his many accomplishments within the field. A few of these include being the founder of the Nevada Eye Bank in Las Vegas and the first surgeon to perform cataract surgery in a freestanding ambulatory surgery center. He earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine and received extensive residency training before founding his Las Vegas laser eye surgery practice, which since 1980 has grown to become the largest full-service ophthalmology center in the state of Nevada.
Dr. Yee, a leading eye doctor in Las Vegas, approaches each procedure with a strong commitment to honesty, integrity, and excellence in personalized care. He brings years of training and experience to Westfield Eye Center. Dr. Yee graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. As an elected Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Yee is one of the few LASIK surgeons in the country to receive his LASIK training through a formal one year University Fellowship.
