Education and Training
Although he has served in the United States Air Force and held rank as a Colonel in United States Reserves, Daytona Beach plastic surgeon Dr. Lentz considers his greatest achievement to be his success as a board-certified physician and plastic surgeon. After earning a BS in Biology in 1966 from Emory University in Atlanta, he went on to the University of Miami Medical School to obtain his medical degree. Dr. Lentz completed his residency and training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center and has been practicing in Daytona Beach since 1979. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
In addition to his education and experience, Dr. Lentz has held several positions in professional organizations, including serving as the President for both the Volusia County Medical Society and the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the President of the Florida Medical Association.
