Dr. Pramit Malhotra’s practice has a motto that expresses his philosophy and goals as a plastic surgeon: “Beauty Revealed.” Focusing on natural-looking and exquisite results, Dr. Malhotra customizes each plastic surgery procedure based on his patients’ anatomy and cosmetic desires. As a highly specialized surgeon with board certification in both plastic surgery and otolaryngology, Dr. Malhotra is the director of the Malhotra Center for Plastic Surgery in Ann Arbor, which also provides care for women and men in Jackson, Lansing, Detroit, and other parts of the state.
Education and Training
Dr. Malhotra graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College cum laude. After completing medical school at the Ohio State College of Medicine, he trained in Head and Neck Surgery with a focus on facial plastic surgery at the University of Minnesota. He was awarded a 6 month research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, one of the world’s leading institutes for medical research. Dr. Malhotra earned a Master of Science degree for his cancer research in addition to his medical doctorate. He completed additional training as the chief plastic surgery fellow at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Malhotra was named a top plastic surgeon by the Consumer Research Council of America in 2009. In addition, as an advocate of patient education, he received a letter of recognition for his contributions to patient education by Emedicine.com. Dr. Malhotra has published articles that have been read internationally by his peers. His patients appreciate his ability to listen to their goals, minimize recovery time, and provide elegant results.
